Moxon 6 Mtr Antennas
Par SM50 Stressed Moxon
PAR SM 50 Stressed Moxon
The SM-50 is a directional 6M antenna occupying approximately 50% of the space of a 2 element Yagi, yet having similar gain and better F/B. The stressed design allows the antenna to be light weight yet strong. Once the matchbox and reflector wire are attached (Phillips screw- driver) the antenna tunes and mounts without tools. In addition, it can be broken down and reassembled in under a minute, making it ideal for portable/rover use.
MFG Moxon
MFJ-1890, 10-METER MOXON ANTENNA
This rugged close-spaced 2-element Yagi has a driven element and reflector with the tips folded toward each other to minimize turning radius.
MFJ-1890 for ten meters spans a mere 12 on a lightweight 50 boom. Weighs just 8 lbs., yet delivers an amazingly clean cardioid pattern with 3.3 dBi forward gain and 30 dB of interference killing front-to-back rejection!
Mount anywhere using lightweight TV antenna hardware.
SO-239 pigtail feedpoint.

6 Meter Moxon Home Build AA2SD
I built these (2) Moxons utilizing flexible driveway snow stake markers and wire from Home Depot
The top version is tuned for 6 Mtrs and the bottom version is for 2 Mtr SSB. I mounted these antennas on a simple push up pole with a rotor. Excellent gain on both bands with good directionality
