VHF Sprint

Sprint Mini Rove AA2SD/R

6 Mtrs  Saturday May 11,  2024       0700 PM – 1100 PM Local

Thanks to all that worked me last night. Cape May was tough at sea level elevation for contacts.  I worked 21 stations during the contest and enjoyed a beautiful NJ shore sunset. The elevation for my location was basically sea level. I deployed a FT-891 and used 200 watts with TE Systems AMP. I also put up a Comet (4) element beam antennas for this contest. I could hear the difference with the poor elevation. My longest norther contact was Alex KR1ST in the Poconos, and Tom KD4AA FM17 to the South in VA. I was also pleased to work Chris to his portable Bus set KE2NJ in Delaware. You can check out the pictures here. https://www.aa2sd.com/ham-radio-rover/vhf-spring-sprints-6-mtr-may-11
